This Policy aims to make known to Customers / Users the general rules of processing of personal data, which are collected and processed in strict respect and compliance with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data in force at all times, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as of the last revision 7 January 2022 (“GDPR”).

WHO IS THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER?
The data protection officer plays an important role in the processing of personal data, ensuring, among other things, the compliance of data processing with the legislation in force, verifying compliance with this Data Protection Policy and defining clear rules for the processing of personal data, ensuring that all those who entrust to it the processing of your personal data, have knowledge of how Terrazzo treats them and what rights they have in this regard.

WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED?
Terrazzo, within the scope of the activities it develops, processes the personal data necessary for the provision of services and / or the supply of products, as well as, at the level of social intervention, processing data such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, according to the most detailed information made available to the holders of personal data.
Without prejudice to compliance with the legal rules relating to the retention and transmission of data for the purposes of investigation, detection, prosecution of serious crimes, as well as other processing to which it is legally obligated, traffic data, geographical location, profile and/or consumption of the Client/Users will be processed by Terrazzo , to the extent that they are necessary for the respective provision of services. In this way, based on location, profile and/or consumption, the Client/User will have access, in particular, to specific functionalities of the services, to suggestions of contents and to proximity information services.
Location information may also be recorded and transmitted to organisations legally competent to receive emergency calls for the purpose of responding to incoming calls.
Personal, traffic, geographical location, profile and/or consumption data are also processed for marketing purposes or dissemination of offers of goods or services of the Terrazzo, if the respective holder has authorized it.
Personal data will also be processed, if the respective holder has authorized it, for the purpose of dissemination of information services and lists, within the scope of the universal service, including transmission to third parties for publication of such lists and provision of information services.
If there is prior consent of the Client/User, it may be withdrawn at any time, without, however, the lawfulness of the treatment carried out on the basis of the consent previously given being compromised.
WHEN AND HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Terrazzo collects your personal data, namely through telephone, in writing and through the website, guaranteeing, whenever necessary, the prior consent of the holder of the personal data.
Some personal data are indispensable to the execution of the contract and, in case of lack or insufficiency thereof, Terrazzo will not be able to make available the product or service in question.
If the holder of the personal data is not a Terrazzo Customer/User, the respective personal data will only be processed when they are made available, namely by subscribing to the sending of newsletters, in which case the rules of this Data Protection Policy will apply.
The personal data collected may be processed in a computerized and automated or non-automated way, ensuring in all cases strict compliance with the legislation of protection of personal data, being stored in specific databases, created for this purpose and, under no circumstances, the data collected will be used for any purpose other than that for which they were collected or given the consent of the data subject.

Without prejudice to the recipients indicated throughout this Data Protection Policy, Terrazzo may communicate the personal data of the Client / User, for the purpose of complying with legal obligations in particular to police, judicial, tax and regulatory entities.
WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA?
In general, the personal data collected are based on and are intended for the management of the contractual relationship, the provision of the contracted services and the adequacy of the services to the needs and interests of the Client/User. Terrazzo may also, provided that it is legally admissible, use the personal data provided by the owner for other purposes, such as sending suggestions, disseminating institutional information of the brand, making known campaigns, promotions, advertising and news about the products and / or services of Terrazzo, as well as for conducting market studies or evaluation surveys.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The period during which personal data is stored and retained varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed.
In fact, there are legal requirements that oblige you to keep the data for a minimum period. WHAT MEASURES DOES TERRAZZO TAKE TO ENSURE THE SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Terrazzo is committed to ensuring the protection of the security of the personal data made available to him, having approved and implemented strict rules in this matter. Compliance with these rules is an obligation of all those who legally access them.
Bearing in mind the concern and commitment that Terrazzo reveals in the defense of personal data, several security measures have been adopted, of a technical and organizational nature, in order to protect the personal data that are made available to it against its dissemination, loss, misus, alteration, treatment or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of illicit treatment.
In addition, third parties that, in the context of the provision of services, process the personal data of the Customer / User in the name and on behalf of the Terrazzo, are obliged, in writing, to carry out appropriate technical and security measures that, at all times, meet the requirements of the legislation in force and ensure the defense of the rights of the data subject (namely, the protection of the privacy and personal data of Customers/Users).
In this sense, on the Terrazzo website, the personal data collection forms require encrypted sessions of the Browser and all the personal data transferred are stored securely in the Terrazzo systems which, in turn, are on the Terrazzo server, covered by all the physical and logical security measures that Terrazzo has understood to be indispensable for the protection of personal data.
Notwithstanding the security measures adopted by Terrazzo, Terrazzo warns all Internet surfers that they must adopt additional security measures, namely to ensure that they use a PC and a Browser updated in terms of properly configured security patches, with active firewall, antivirus and“anti-spyware” and to make sure of the authenticity of the sites they visit on the Internet, and should avoid websites whose reputation they do not trust.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES IS THERE COMMUNICATION OF DATA TO OTHER ENTITIES (THIRD PARTIES AND SUBCONTRACTORS)?
Terrazzo, within the scope of its activity, may use third parties for the provision of certain services. Sometimes, the provision of these services implies the access, by these entities, to the personal data of the Customers/Users. When this happens, Terrazzo takes appropriate measures to ensure that the entities that have access to the data are reputable and offer the highest guarantees at this level, which is duly enshrined and contractually safeguarded between Terrazzo and the third entity(ies).
Thus, any entity subcontracted by Terrazzo will process the personal data of our Customers/Users, in the name and on behalf of Terrazzo and adopting technical and organizational measures necessary in order to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorized access and against any other form of unlawful treatment.
In any case, Terrazzo remains responsible for the personal data made available to it.
UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The provision of certain services by Terrazzo may imply the transfer of your data outside Portugal, including outside the European Union or to International Organizations.
